    Ferris

    SAM’S Ferris Wheel Ohhh Yeahhhh

Ferris is a 10 year old terrier mix rescue dog. His passions include chasing squirrels, squeaking toys, being petted endlessly, and sniffing the air while a strong breeze blows through his beautiful floof. In his youth Ferris dabbled and competed in many sports including agility, rally obedience, disc, barn hunt, canine musical freestyle, tricks, lure coursing, tracking, flyball, and nosework. His current retirement sports are nosework and musical freestyle, and he still loves showing off his tricks.

    Rizzo

    PWRDOX Pink Lady MLB

Rizzo is a 6 year old longhair miniature dachshund. She loves training of any kind, being out in nature, digging a good hole, and posing for photos. In 2023, Rizzo competed at the AKC Rally Nationals in Ohio. Despite a promising start to her agility career, she unfortunately had to retire from the sport following a back injury last year. Nowadays she competes in musical freestyle, CPE Speedway games, and she never misses a chance to brag that she passed her big brother in nosework. In 2024 she tried Barn Hunt for the first time, and she sincerely loves playing shed hunt at home - unfortunately the antlers used in competition are nearly half her body weight so she hasn’t been able to compete (UKC, small dog division, please!) Rizzo’s favorite tricks are ‘dead bug’ (pictured), anything involving retrieving, and her signature backwards ‘scoot’.

    Charlotte

    SAM’s Can’t Touch This

Charlotte is an 11-12 year old terrier mix. She was a 'foster fail’, and Ferris is one of 9 puppies she gave birth to when she came into rescue. She loves cuddling with her dog friends, catching mice, and eating as much pizza as she can get her paws on. We can only guess this little mama had a rough start to her life. She is extremely wary of people and prefers the company of dogs over humans, though she has gained a lot of confidence in her little bubble over the years. Charlotte is a pretty anxious girly and she would rather stay home than go to dog shows, so she spends her senior years napping and patrolling her yard. Despite her sensitivities, Charlotte is a very clever girl and she enjoys learning new tricks and skills, and playing nosework games at home.

wonderdog origins

Everyday Wonderdog was born in tribute to Lady, a 10 year old dachshund adopted by Gin in 2014. Despite her age, Lady embraced the world of tricks and competition in her golden years, proving that every dog holds the potential to do something amazing! Yes, old dogs absolutely can learn new tricks. 10 years later, Gin enjoys training and competing with her current pups, Ferris, Charlotte, and Rizzo.

Everyday Wonderdog was founded in 2023 to honor the special bond shared between dogs and their humans. Whether your dog is an accomplished agility champion, or the star of their own show at home, we believe every dog is a Wonderdog!
